top has been combined with different fabrics, such as micropile with an inner 4 mm thick open cell foam, a 5 mm thick wool felt or memory foam. Because of its hexagonal gel structure, air is compressed within the cells of the gel pad and expelled as the horse moves, creating a cushion under the saddle.
